Head of Digital – Manchester - Hybrid working

This advanced solutions provider requires a driven and self-motivated Head of Digital to join their busy technical team and motivate those around them. They are based in Manchester and are operating a hybrid working model. The key to this role is designing and implementing tailored applications that address client needs which requires strong hands-on technical and commercial expertise.

The Head of Digital will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their objectives and requirements
  • Designing and providing documentation and presentations
  • Leading technical discussions and staying up to date with industry trends
  • Overseeing the implementation of websites and add-ons
  • Hands-on developing and maintaining websites and dealing with WooCommerce, PHP, WordPress etc
  • Leading and acting as an escalation point for staff to deal with client and development queries
  • Providing commercial support to the business including managing revenue growth and company forecasting

The following skills and experience are required:
  • Strong expertise with the following technical skills: WooCommerce, PHP, WordPress, MySQL
  • Strong commercial experience managing contracts, developers and client facing work
  • Must have prior evidence of providing revenue growth and company forecasting in previous work experience
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong ability to lead and manage multiple projects with excellent problem-solving skills
