IT Security Engineer – Remote (UK-based)
£50,000 - £60,000 + bonuses, 35-hour work week and great benefits
 
This profitable and growing organisation require an experienced IT Security Engineer, who has a history of analysing entire Infrastructure estates, to determine the current security status and report on recommendations. As the SME for IT Security, you will be responsible for safeguarding highly sensitive data and the IT infrastructure, by implementing and managing robust security measures.
 
Working as part of the wider Infrastructure team, you will help plan and execute a disaster recovery solution whilst also providing technical security input to assist project delivery. You will be responsible for technical delivery of the Security Roadmap and support the Information Security Manager in the production of InfoSec policies and procedures.
 
The role will be primarily remote, with the expectation of occasional travel to their head office in Leeds.
 
Package:

1. 35-hour work week
2. Up to 20% bonus
3. 30 days holidays + bank holidays (plus buy and sell 5 more days)

Experience / Responsibilities:

• Proven track record in an IT Security Specialist / Engineer role

• Excellent knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure
• Track record of timely delivery of infrastructure / security projects
• Microsoft 365 E5 security stack
• Microsoft Azure Sentinel
• Enterprise level vulnerability management
• Relevant Azure or security certifications would be desirable e.g. CISSP, Azure Administrator
