Platform Lead – West Yorkshire / Hybrid

This well-established, national company are looking to add an experienced Platform Lead / Lead PHP Developer to spearhead their web team. The business is positioned to revamp their digital presence, integrating the latest technologies and features into their platform architecture.

The Platform Lead will be required to develop, mentor and scale a high-performing technical team as well as ensuring a best-in-class back-end web platform. As Technical Lead, you will fostering a cross-functional collaboration culture within various teams whilst overseeing and managing technical projects from conception to completion.
 
The role will operate a hybrid working model, with a preference for candidates to be able to travel to either Hebden Bridge or Leeds twice per week.
 
Required:
  • Significant experience in a senior or lead developer role.
  • Expertise in PHP and an understanding of frameworks such as Symfony
  • Cloud platforms such as Azure, or equivalent.
  • A strong grasp of DevOps principles, specifically in implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • A track record of mentoring, coaching, or leading other developers
