Solutions Architect – Leicester/Hybrid – £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits           
 
My client is a worldwide provider of high quality measurement and data systems and they are looking for a Solutions Architect to join their growing Software Engineering team. They are operating a truly hybrid model so homeworking is an option, although they would hope their excellent culture and workspace would entice people into their office in Leicester every so often.
 
The Solutions Architect will work alongside other Software Engineers to reimagine my client’s suite of software solutions. This will involve being hands-on with the project and therefore possess the relevant software engineering skills. The candidate will be required to work with key stakeholders to ensure solutions align with the market needs and a clear understanding of the wider application can be maintained.
 
The candidate will be required to travel at regular intervals and some international travel may be required.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance to the software engineering team.
• Hands on software development, contributing as part of the scrum team.
• Deliver robust software solutions ensuring a coordinated effort across different functions.
• Resolving architectural blockers base on updated specifications.
• Supporting the project tender process with effective designs and solutions.
  
  

Essential Experience:

• Software solution architecture and design techniques
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of the following Kubernetes, AKS/EKS
• Broad technical knowledge and ability to clearly communicate across the wider teams
• Experience working with other areas including Product, Development, Testing etc.
