2nd Line Support Analyst – Liverpool / Hybrid
£27,000 - £30,000 + 39 days holiday and excellent benefits

This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated 2nd Line Support Analyst to join their busy technical services team who can offer varied and challenging work. You will be required to provide support for technical infrastructure and end user computing. This means that strong technical and customer support experience is essential.
The 2nd Line Engineer will manage incident and problem tickets whilst being responsible for the purchasing of assets. You will be responsible for network troubleshooting and deployment, including fire walls, proxy services, content filtering and wired and wireless networks.
This position can offer hybrid working and will be split between two sites in the Liverpool area primarily, with occasional travel to Manchester. A valid UK Driving Licence and your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting IT infrastructure and applications in an end user computing environment
  • Management of server and networking systems
  • Monitoring and escalating tickets to meet or exceed SLAs or OLAs
  • Responsible for maintenance of service desk documentation for internal and customer facing
  • Centrally manage service desk tickets for all of the IT services team
Skills required:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Microsoft Systems
  • Understanding of Cyber Security
  • ITIL best practice
  • Technical qualifications such as MSCA and CCNA would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
