This advanced organisation based just outside of Northampton are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join the development team of Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers, where you will be responsible for delivering a key programme of work for the core platform. While forming part of the wider testing team.
 
Key Responsibilities for this Tester role:

  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures within a Data Driven Environment
  • Design, develop, execute and maintain automated and manual test scripts.
  • Create and maintain realistic test plans, scenarios, test cases and technical areas and maximise testing time available
  • Running tests for functionality, usability and performance.
  • Record test runs, communicate and document discrepancies encountered during testing, investigating errors and reporting software bugs
  • Supporting users in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps
 
The successful Tester / Test Analyst / QA Analyst will have a solid understanding of software testing and software development.  You will possess excellent written and verbal skills, together with being self-organised and methodical with your approach to work.  Other desirable skills include:  development / programming background preferably with knowledge of C# or Java / Experience of Selenium testing tool and preferably if you are ISTQB certified or working towards it.
