This well-established software solutions provider are looking to add a Software Architect to join their talented development team. This diverse role will involve working in an agile environment on high performing, scalable, enterprise grade applications. The successful Architect will be responsible for designing the structure of the software architecture and technical stack. You will design and plan the software solutions and report directly to the Head of R&D.

Core responsibilities include:

Lead the design and architecture of the software solutions.
Aid the develop the strategic roadmap.
Work with data analytics and data engineering teams to translate business requirements to functional requirements.
Understand the importance of quality and change control and keep up to date with the latest Java and Cloud technologies.
Actively mentor junior engineers and architects

The core skills for this Software Architect role includes:

Proven experience as a software architect
Strong experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Git
Understand strategic IT solutions.
Experience with cloud technologies including strong AWS implementation and/migration
Excellent communication skills
AWS certification is advantageous.

Ideally you will have a minimum 2:1 Degree in Computer/IT related discipline and 5 + years Java development experience and will be joining a team of Java Engineer and Architects in a vibrant and rewarding environment where your technical input will be integral to the technological advancement of the team.
