This advanced solutions provider requires a driven and self-motivated Cloud Support Shift Lead to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. They will offer you an excellent salary and benefits package. The key to this role is for being an escalation point as well as line management for a small team.
The Cloud Support Shift Lead will be responsible for:

  • Configuring server infrastructure and supporting the platform and providing incident troubleshooting
  • Acting as a senior escalation point within the team and for internal/external customers
  • Planning and delivering complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Maintaining good working relationships and creating documentation for all system builds
The following skills and experience are required:
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V and experience of 1st-3rd line IT support
  • Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
  • Experience using automated monitoring and automation techniques
  • Experience working in ITIL v3 environment
  • Experience with incident ticket systems and good knowledge of infrastructure security
