Information Security Officer

Information Security Officer – Hybrid / Yorkshire or Midlands
Circa £40,000 + Benefits such as 35-hour work week, flexible hours, 25 days Holidays + Bank holidays, Life assurance and more
 
This opportunity is for an experienced Information Security Officer to join a rapidly growing legal-tech firm and be responsible for supporting the significant increased demand for their services. They are looking for someone to act as the subject matter expert, contributing to the growth of their information security services offering to clients. The Information Security Practitioner will support the development their digital product offering and support internal compliance in this area.
 
Some of the responsibilities of the Information Security Officer will include but not be limited to:

  • Developing the company’s Information Security Consultancy practice
  • Contributing to the development of commoditised digital offerings in Information Security governance, risk, and compliance
  • Develop and lead internal information security projects
 
This role will be primarily based from home, but candidates must live within a commutable distance of either Yorkshire or the Midlands, as semi-regular travel will be required. This exciting organisation have achieved record revenues year on year and have recently opened their fifth UK office.
 
Requirements:
  • 2+ years’ experience in Information Security systems
  • Experience as an ISO 27001 lead implementer or auditor 
  • Experience of taking the lead on and managing cross-functional and matrix delivery teams, including external suppliers
  • Production of Information Security Risk Registers
  • Beneficial sector experience - Software-as-as-Service or multi-national organisations
