This advanced Healthcare company are enjoying a sustained period of growth and are looking to add a Business Development Manager to their Software sales team to cover the Stoke On Trent, Birmingham, West Midlands & surrounding Midlands area.
 
The role of the Business Development Manager is to identify new business opportunities, strategically develop and maintain external relationships and be comfortable in communicating with all levels of management. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will have strong market knowledge in the Healthcare and Social Care sector.
The Business Development Manager must be able to demonstrate proven experience of building relationships and sales opportunities to senior stakeholders within the NHS or Healthcare sector. You will be experienced in selling directly to the end-user, via Resellers, System Integrators and Technology Partners.
 
 Core responsibilities;

  • Securing new business opportunities to meet growth strategy and annual sales targets.
  • Building pipelines for new business opportunities, by utilising market knowledge to identify new customers.
  • Developing regional sales plans and respective win strategies for key prospects and tenders.
  • Liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address any product queries that may arise.
  • Developing strong relationships with key clients & potential clients operating within the NHS and the healthcare sector
  • Using existing contacts to build relationships with decision makers in key roles within the NHS, Social care & Healthcare sector.
  • Developing a client engagement plan that promotes a regular client contact frequency
  • Influencing key decision makers and drive tactical sales.
  • Work with the Commercial Director & be responsible for driving the development & preparation of marketing materials
  • Setup and attend demonstrations to educate potential Clients and existing Customers to drive new sales.
  • Providing up-to-date sales and forecasting reports through the CRM system
The successful Business Development Manager will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with remote and local team members from different backgrounds. And have proven experience in presentation skills and the ability to influence and persuade. This role would suit a tenacious personality with the ability to spot and execute new business opportunities.
