Senior Application Support Analyst – Peterborough – Up To £50k + Benefits

This established e-commerce organisation is looking to add a Senior Application Support Analyst to the team to drive the operation of their support function. The ideal candidate will come into the team and use their skills and experience to manage and support the organisations application system and databases, while reporting key information to the management team and key stakeholders.

You will have a natural aptitude to drive improvement and standards and processes, an ability to manage and prioritise workloads and key knowledge to understand, implement and improve the support function. The Senior Application Support Analyst will be responsible for:

Communicating and acting as the link between the Support and Software Development Team
Monitoring, maintaining and updating systems regularly
Liaising with internal teams at all stages leading up to application releases
Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and key stakeholders to improve system performance
Identifying failures within the software and suggesting possible solutions

The following skills and experience are required:

Strong technical, problem solving, communication and time management skills
Understanding of scripting languages and automation tools
Strong analytical and data skills (SQL)
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and change
