This highly successful organisation is looking for a Software Delivery Manager to join an established software development team with technical understanding of application development and knowledge of the software development life cycle. The successful Delivery Manager will have good technical understanding in terms of application programming, databases, and systems design as you will be working closely with the in-house development team on client requirements. Ideally you will have some technical skills.

The company have a wide client portfolio and the Delivery Manager will develop strong relationships with their clients to ensure requirements are understood, solutions are delivered effectively and that client expectations are managed and satisfied. The successful Software Delivery Manager will manage the day-to-day routine in terms of project and scope, review deliverables prepared by the team, apply project management methodology and prepare for engagement reviews and QA procedures. This role will suit a Delivery Manager with an application development background looking to take the next step in their career. You will join an experienced and friendly team who will support your training and career growth.

You will need:

  • Experience providing implementation of Agile methodologies
  • Experience of projects within the software delivery lifecycle
  • Strong business acumen and writing commercial contracts
  • Technical skills including SQL scripting and any development experience is an advantage
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ideally experience working in a Scrum Master role/Software Delivery role
  • Familiar with multiple Agile approaches (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, SAFe, LeSS)
