Lead Front End Engineer

Lead Front End Engineer – Remote – Up to £70k and Benefits
React.js, Bootstrap.js, Typescript, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Unit and integration testing with JEST, WebPack
 
I currently require a Lead Front End Engineer, to lead a team of developers to build and support the development of one of the agile teams within the business. You will contribute to the company’s development strategy and lead software development activities for one team.
 
As the Lead Front End Engineer, you will work with the development team to define, communicate, and govern high quality and efficient software source code to meet functional, technical and UI specifications. You will also lead on technical design activities for the team and ensuring the team’s code is peer reviewed.
 
This role will predominantly be based from home, but travel to the office twice a month will be required. This role is mostly hands on and management is 10-20% of the work required.
 
Technical skills

  • React.js, bootstrap.js with Typescript
  • HTML/CSS and JavaScript
  • Unit and integration testing with JEST or similar
  • WebPack
  • Kestrel and Nginx web servers
  • Leadership experience
