QA Engineer

QA Engineer – £40k

This well-established company is looking for a QA Engineer to join their development team. The successful QA Engineer will be joining a team working on the testing and delivery of mobile apps and websites to improve the quality of the products and help to lead the team’s QA processes.

Essential Experience/Skills:

Creation, management, and execution of test plans
Work within development scrum teams using agile methodology
Work closely with other areas of the business to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements
Generating reports on product quality to help identify areas where improvements can be made
Work closely with the development team to highlight issues and recommend improvements to QA processes
Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and QA’s role in it
A passion for software quality and the testing process

Desirable Experience/Skills:

Experience with SQL and querying a database
Ability to lead/define QA processes
Experience of working with remote teams
