Infrastructure Engineer – South Manchester – Up to £45k

This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Senior IT/Infrastrucutre Engineer to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is ensuring smooth operations of systems and infrastructure. The Senior Engineer will stay ahead of the technology curve and manage server/network infrastructure.

The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Senior IT/Infrastructure Engineer to provide specialist support. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in infrastructure related roles. You will have provided up to 3rd line support with good technical experience of WAN and LAN infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

Delivery of a range of IT projects with modern IT systems
Microsoft 365 solutions including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange
HyperV and Server hardware build, specification, and troubleshooting
Supporting Windows operating systems and server and data migrations
Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure
Excellent Active Directory and Group Policy configuration
VPN and remote desktop services experience
TCP/IP, PAT, NAT, and Wi-Fi management
ITIL, CCNA, MCSE or equivalent are desirable
Experience with Datto RMM, VOIP Telephone, SQL Server, PowerShell, Autotask PSA are all beneficial
