They require a Technical Lead to take accountability for the IT development and application support team, managing the design and development and implementation of software thorough the development lifecycle. Responsibilities include leadership, management support and guidance to the team leaders ensuring all staff receive appropriate levels of training and work in a professional and safe environment and ensuring the department is adequately resourced to fulfil customer commitments, demonstrating strong Internal and external customer relationship management, and setting the application strategy and direction for the business.
 
The ideal Development Manager will have come from a development background with a good grounding with C# .Net technologies and technical design and delivery.  Programme management is a required skill as there will be a lot of programs at one time and so the ability to manage all effectively is essential.
 
Skills

  • Development background with .Net and understanding agile principals
  • Ideally from a financial background.
  • Excellent understanding of CI/CD practices
  • Working knowledge of design application in a cloud environment
  • SQL server experience
  • Strong team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
  • Strong relationship and customer management experience
