This advanced solutions provider requires a driven and self-motivated Billing System Analyst to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. They are based in Chorley and they will offer you an excellent salary and benefits package. The key to this role is providing application support activities including issue investigation and second line support.
The Billing System Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Resolving application related incidents and problems efficiently.
  • Providing communication to user on the status of their incidents.
  • Liaising with internal teams regarding application support issues.
  • Monitoring availability, performance, and throughput of supported applications.
  • Working with change managers to identify new business and functional requirement to ensure root cause of issues is identified and resolved.
The following skills and experience are required:
  • Previous experience within the energy industry.
  • Knowledge of billing system within the energy industry.
  • Experience with incident ticketing systems.
  • Skilled in problem diagnoses and ability to communicate well to all stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of ITIL industry standards.
  • Ideally experience with SQL.
