Database Administrator DBA – fully remote Database Administration, DBA, SQL, SSIS, PowerBI, SSAS, SSRS, PowerShell, MySQL This highly successful and growing organisation are looking to add an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with solid skills in SQL, PowerBI, PowerShell and SSIS to their IT team. The successful Database Administrator will be part of a dynamic IT team with the ability to work on high impact project roles. Responsibilities will include ensuring integrity, performance, and security of databases as well as troubleshooting database related issues for users. Ideally you will have 3 years commercial experience in a similar role. Core Skills for this Database Administrator role: •Strong SQL experience •Advanced knowledge of database backup, security, recovery and performance monitoring standards •PowerShell scripting •SSAS, SSIS and SSRS •Relational and dimensional data modelling •Experience with Windows Server environments and with cloud services Interpersonal skills •Well organised, self-motivated, and able to successfully work under tight project deadlines. •Good communication skills - both written and verbal (to elicit clear requirements and communicate solutions) •Able to work well as part of a team, but also to be self-motivated when working alone As an organisation they will support you in your career aims and can offer a long term path of training and development.
