This advanced solutions provider requires a driven and self-motivated Application Support Shift Lead to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. They are based in Chorley and they will offer you an excellent salary and benefits package. The key to this role is managing a shift team of Application Support Analyst. You will have overall responsibility for the team’s work as well as hands-on technical responsibilities.
The Application Support Shift Lead will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of service to customers within SLA for incident response and resolution
  • Managing and developing the Application Support team
  • Perform role of Major Incident Manager during shift and manage incident resolution
  • Manage ITIL based support processes
  • Work with the team to drive continual service improvement
  • Be flexible in your approach to task completion and ensure the team comply with internal systems, procedures and processes
The following skills and experience are required:
  • Ability to multi-task in a pressurised environment
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment
  • Supporting bespoke application
  • Experience managing a team
  • SQL and Oracle database experience
