SQL Developer – Remote - Competitive plus excellent benefits
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months - Fully remote

This advanced Software company are looking to add an experienced SQL Developer to their collaborative development team. The role will initially be covering maternity leave, with the possibility of extension not being ruled out. The successful developer will be a team player and looking to build on their skills and experience in a vibrant working environment.

You will be involved in a variety of projects, developing cutting edge HR and Analytics software. You will be working in an Agile way, importing raw data into the company Data Warehouse, and transforming it for reporting purposes. The role will be completely remote based with the opportunity to meet up with the team in designated ‘hubs’ on a regular basis.

Core skills required for this SQL Developer:

Developing SQL or T-SQL code
ETL concepts (Extract, Transform, Load)
SQL Server up to version 2017
Data Warehousing, inclusive of using SSIS as the ETL tool
SQL performance tuning and indexing
Dynamic SQL / Visual Studio

Desirable skills:

Knowledge of Azure SQL databases
AGILE or SCRUM environment
Microsoft Certification a bonus (SQL, BI or DBA related)
Source control software (TFS, VTFS)
