This leading Software house based in Coventry are looking to a Data Migration analyst to their IT services team. The successful Data Migration Analyst / Reports specialist will be working on high volume Data Migration projects for various external clients. Working as part of an established team you will ensure customer data and reporting requirements are met. The data migration analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all data and reporting work, meets the accepted specification and is delivered to the highest quality within project deadlines.

The Data Migration specialist will be involved in all aspects of customer data and reporting, including but not limited to: scoping customer data migration and reporting requirements, data migration from customers legacy systems and other multiple sources, writing reports to customer specifications, estimating customer requirements and writing statement of works, data investigation, assisting other members of the Professional Services and Support teams with queries.

Core skills for this Data Migration Specialist includes;

Knowledge of relational database design
Extensive experience of high volume data migration projects from legacy systems
Transact SQL, T-SQL, Power BI
Use of SQL Management studio to write views and stored procedures
MS Access
Report writing and query design
Experience of requirements analysis and scoping
Familiar with creation and operation of business Dashboards
Ability to write comprehensive customer facing business documents

As a Data Migration Specialist you will need to have a high level of skill as well as an ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and customers. You will have a keen eye for detail who is passionate about quality and will have an eye on emerging technologies and trends.
