This highly successful and growing organisation based in Worcestershire with offices commutable from Kidderminster, Worcester, Dudley etc is looking to add an experienced Data Migration Analyst with solid skills in SQL, SQL Server and Access to their IT team.

The successful Data Migration Analyst (SQL & Access) will be part of a dynamic IT team with the ability to work on high impact project roles. Responsibilities will include data conversion and migrations to SQL Server,  analysing complex datasets using SQL Server and understanding, clarifying and interpreting complex business rules and criteria to produce SQL and Access reports
 
Role Duties for this Data Migration role;

  • Data conversion / migration from legacy systems onto a SQL Server based product
  • Take full ownership of your data migration skills, knowledge, and development plan
  • Data investigation
  • Develop and maintain current and new data migration scripts
  • Keep abreast of current and future data migration processes and legislation
 
Skills Required:
  • Extensive Data conversion / migration experience
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and experience of using data query and extraction tools
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel & Access skills to Macro/VBA level
  • Excellent Data Analysis skills
