Software Delivery Manager – Wellingborough - £50k

This advanced financial provider requires a driven and self-motivated Software Delivery Manager to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. They will offer you an excellent salary and benefits package. The key to this role is for managing and overseeing key functions within the IT department to provide delivery of high-quality services to end-users.
 
The Software Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

  • Driving and owning IT processes, templates and guidelines whilst analyzing and troubleshooting delivery issues
  • Managing the delivery team to ensure accurate and timely deliverables including stakeholder management, shift prioritizing and planned/unplanned changes
  • Providing resource and workloads allocations whilst providing direction and guidance as required
  • Developing process improvement and evaluating the performance of the team
 
The following skills and experience are requiredfor the Software Delivery Manager:
  • 6 years’ experience working in IT/Software Delivery Management
  • Development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience managing multiple projects and presenting to large groups
  • Excellent experience managing resources and software delivery
  • Highly motivated with a strong ability to identify problem and develop solutions
  • Excellent experience with O365, Confluence and Jira
  • Knowledge of Oracle/Informatica/Salesforce will be an advantage
