IT Project Co-ordinator - Staffordshire
 
Location; North Staffordshire, Kidsgrove, commute from Stoke, Alsager, Macclesfield, Cheshire

Agile , Prince 2, Project Co-ordinator, Junior Project Manager 

This well-established organisation based in Staffordshire, near Stoke On Trent, (commute from Newcastle under Lyme, Kidsgrove, Alsager etc)  are looking to add a Project Co-ordinator to their project delivery team. The role offers plenty of scope to move into a Project Manager role in the near future and offers you the opportunity to build on your skills and experience with this market leader. The project that you will initially be working on is the delivery of the IT Change Programme and you will be responsible that the project delivery is within agreed timescales, budget and to the quality required.
 
Working with the Programme Manager, the role includes:
 
 

  • Assist with the delivery of IT infrastructure and development projects by ensuring that technical teams provide the necessary updates, paperwork, reports and deliverables as agreed with the Programme Manager, Head of IT and Head of Technical Operations.
  • Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and that IT governance processes are followed
  • Resource Management administration
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in the project office / project team
  • Attend Project meetings to record and minute actions and decisions
  • Liaise effectively with the business and technical teams
  • Demonstrate a hands-on style in assisting and supporting the day to day activities of project and programme management within the IT Operations and Delivery Team
 
Core skills for this Junior Project Manager role.
 
  • Self-starter with strong organisational, time management and influencing skills
  • A strong personality with excellent written & verbal communication and relationship management skills
  • 3-5 years working within a Prince or Agile based Project Co-ordinator role
  • Competent in the use of Project Management and reporting tools
  • Working knowledge of IT and infrastructure terminologies
  • PMO experience desirable
