UX/UI Designer - Solihull

UX/UI Designer – Up to £40k – Solihull commute from Birmingham, Coventry, Rugby and Leamington Spa.
UX, UI, Design Tools, A/B Testing 

We’re looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX designer to join our team.  Working as part of a cross functional team, you will be responsible for creating the best online user experience within the automotive retail sector, covering all aspects of the user journey.

You will have a proven track record and portfolio of delivering excellent user experiences across mobile and desktop platforms as well as a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and user experience for our main national brand websites
  • Improve UX and re-design existing functional areas
  • Competitor analysis and reviews
  • Prototype new functionality demonstrating the user journey
  • Increase customer engagement through innovative UI solutions
  • Work with front end/back end developers, business analysts and the wider development/digital team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of design tools
  • Proficient knowledge of responsive design
  • Experience of wireframing, prototyping and A/B testing
  • A proven track record of designing with a mobile first approach
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript would be a distinct advantage
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders
