Solution Architect

Solution Architect – Liverpool – Up to £90k

This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Solution Architect to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is contributing to architectural support for major projects. The Solution Architect will track emerging technologies and identify IT innovation.

The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Solution Architect to provide architectural lead. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in similar roles. You will have strong experience working in a Solution Architect role within the financial services industry and ensuring strong contribution to development and maintenance of application roadmaps for key applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of a range of architectural projects and taking the lead on these
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with IT strategy, standard and policies within all projects
  • Experience with Integration Architecture, Cloud, Servers and Security Infrastructure
  • Excellent Application tech managing including Database (SQL, Oracle) and Cloud Productivity
  • Experience using financial services systems (CREST/SWIFT) and business application management e.g. Payroll, SUN, MTD
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • TOGAF certified or equivalent experience
