Technical Analyst


Technical Analyst – SQL, T-SQL – Lichfield, Staffordshire
 
Must have experience in SQL & T-SQL
 
Working as a Technical Analyst / Support Analyst, the successful candidate will provide advanced technical support to their external customer base, internal staff and external partners. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years working within a technical support or service desk environment, coupled with exceptional customer service based out of their Lichfield, Staffordshire offices.
 
Key Responsibilities for this Technical Analyst / Support Analyst role;
 

  • Monitor and manage support Incidents working within agreed Service levels
  • Investigate complex technical Support incidents using SQL server management studio
  • Maintain problem management process
  • Provide monthly Incident trend analysis to Support Manager
  • Provide technical support to other Support Technicians
 
Core skills & experience
 
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years working within a technical support or service desk environment, coupled with exceptional customer service skills along with the following skills & attributes:
 
  • Advanced analytical and investigative skills to resolve complex enquiries
  • Experience of using T-SQL / TSQL essential
  • Passion for providing top quality service to customers
  • Able to work comfortably in a pressured environment dealing with potentially difficult customers
  • The ability to absorb and retain large amounts of new information
  • Flexible working style adapting to changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain close working relationships within a large team
  • Provide clear and concise technical explanations to non-technically minded users
