This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Application Support Engineer to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is customer service and hence you will be a good communicator with plenty of energy and enthusiasm and will have worked extensively within a service driven ITIL environment. 
The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer to provide specialist support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st level support to customers and internal teams
  • Process Service Requests for customers and internal teams
  • Take ownership of customer support issues
  • Supporting web applications
  • Support bespoke software products
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a Service Desk environment
  • An understanding of a variety of technologies e.g. Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange etc.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation beneficial
  • Take ownership of customer support issues
  • Ability to priorities work and escalate to managers & internal teams when needed
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, internal teams & senior managers
  • Any understanding of web technologies would be beneficial e.g. HTML, JavaScript
