System Administrator

System Administrator – Gateshead – Up to £23k + Benefits

My client requires a competent System Administrator to join a progressive software company in Gateshead. The purpose of this role is to help maintain and operate high quality, safety-critical software that is crucial to operating key national infrastructure.

The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Systems Administrator to provide specialist support. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in similar roles.

Required:

Experience of operating cloud-based environments (ideally AWS)
Linux based operating systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve issues independently.
Experience of ticket management and collaboration tools.
Modifying and maintaining systems and code
Git (Bitbucket) would be desirable
Programming experience e.g. PHP, JavaScript (desirable)
