Implementation Consultant – Tamworth, Staffordshire

This advanced Software House based in Tamworth, Staffordshire are looking to recruit an Implementation Consultant with Software Implementation experience to join their Software Implementation team. Reporting into the Project Consultant Team Leader, you will be a key member of the project delivery team working on package application implementations for a growing client list.

Delivery of the product encompasses primarily consultancy setting up the system and assisting with the customers change management in implementing the solution, alongside a dedicated Project manager. Ideally, we are looking for an Implementation Consultant with experience of system implementation consultancy with strong training and Project Co-ordination skills. You will need to be a self-starter willing to work hard and be able to fit in well with a small team. You will responsible for the successful delivery of configuration and training sessions.

Core responsibilities for this Implementation Consultant role:

To understand the customer's system requirements to enable systems to be appropriately configured and successfully implemented.
Actively carrying out the majority of a system implementation and configuration on customer sites.
Training users in the product as it has been configured for them.
To engage with all levels of internal / external stakeholders .
To ensure the project scope is well defined and deliverables are clear and unambiguous.
Accurately record time for all consultancy work as part of projects.
To provide technical / functional documentation in agreed formats, for internal and external customers.
Record and report Actions and Notes from consultancy/training sessions to Project Managers.
Work with Project Trainer to improve training process and documentation.
Problem Solving - working with customer issues to achieve a viable solution either with or without change to the product.
Report Writing - using the standard reporting tools and advanced SQL reporting functionality.
Travel to/from customer sites

Essential skills & experience for this Implementation role:

Have experience in delivering consultancy or system configuration.
Have experience in delivering end user system training.
Have experience in customer business process analysis and requirements gathering
Have experience in delivering package software implementation projects - including configuration of systems
Excellent client facing skills and experience to ensure relationships are kept strong.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all business levels.
The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions and decision makers.
