Junior Front-End Developer / Designer – Blackpool
 
Location – Blackpool, Lancashire; commute from Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Lytham St Annes, Preston & Blackburn
 
Due to an ambitious growth strategy and customer demand they will be upgrading their ecommerce websites, giving it a big UI/UX refresh and are looking to add a Front-end developer / Designer to their creative team based out of Blackpool, Lancashire
 
They are seeking a front-end designer / Digital Designer with excellent creative and communication skills, to join a dedicated team of developers and designers with a strong culture of helpful collaboration and high-quality standards. The front-end web designer will be responsible for creating the best online content on their ecommerce sites, covering all aspects of the user journey.
 
Core responsibilities for this Developer / Designer role;

  • Working closely with a Senior Digital Designer within a busy eCommerce Content team, you will support the creation and build of all online content.
  • The web Developer will be required to make CSS, HTML and JavaScript changes to the site, using the Web Content Management System to upload and edit online content.
 
Core skills required for this web role:
  • Basic HTML/CSS coding skills
  • Skilled at working with Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (particularly Photoshop) or an alternative equivalent design programme
  • Experience using a web content management system
  • A real flair for creating eCommerce websites, the customer journey and content
