Business Analyst / Systems Analyst – Birmingham
Location - Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary - 45k plus excellent benefits icluding Pension, Healthcare, 25 days holidays, Gym, Social club

Looking for a Technical Business Analyst or Product Owner who has previously worked as a developer and moved into a Technical BA role, must have experience of .Net or VB6 and API Mapping.

Based out of their Birmingham office, the Technical Business Analyst will work with the business and IT to analyse their requirements and design solutions for IT Systems and Architecture. Working with the senior IT management you will analyse and document demand from the business, third parties and IT to ensure that the software development teams have everything they need to deliver their projects. 
 
Core skills and experience for this Business Analyst / Systems Analyst role;

  • Commercial experience of analysing and documenting complex systems and integrations.
  • Experience of working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software delivery teams using Azure DevOps, VSTS or JIRA.
  • Previous experience as a Developer (.net or VB6) or systems analysis background as they will be expected to be able to read (ideally debug) code and use tools such as SQL Profiler to trace how information flows from systems to the database before producing appropriate documentation and create user stories for the developers to work on
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • API Mapping
