Service Desk Manager – Central Nottingham – Up to £40k + Benefits

This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Service Desk Manager to join their technical team. The key to this role is ensuring smooth operations of systems and infrastructure. The Service Desk Team Lead will be responsible for managing the 1st and 2nd line team leaders, ensuring that the team continue to deliver the expected level of IT support.
                                                                                 
The current vacancy is for a large business who have invested heavily into IT over the past several years, with continued growth planned. You will take ownership for IT incidents where a higher level of management is required and act as an escalation point for the Service Desk.
 
Key Requirements:

  • ITIL v3 foundation
  • Previous experience managing a team including team leaders
  • Understanding of IT Service Management
  • Understanding of call centre technologies
  • Knowledge of ISO requirements would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience leading, influencing, negotiating and problem solving
