SQL Developer - Birmingham - Work from home 2-3 days a week!!

This advanced software solution company based in Birmingham City Centre are looking to add a Database developer to their growing development team. The successful SQL Developer will analyse and create scripts to optimise performance of their existing databases and application SQL scripts. The SQL developer will bejoining a database team and they will take responsibility of the new database and ensure a fast transactional system is produced.

Essential skills for the SQL Developer role:

Strong Background using SQL Server
Strong background using SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures
Some DBA related skills (performance tuning, indexing etc).

Other beneficial skills:

Knowledge of Azure SQL databases.
Experience with AGILE workflow processes
Continuous Integration / Continuous Development within a DevOps environment

The Database Developer will work as a team in the designing, building and testing database scripts for performance and robustness whilst also maintaining their existing databases and identifying/scripting optimisations
