Senior IT Engineer – Central Nottingham – Up to £42k + Benefits
Windows Server, Infrastructure, Networking
 
This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Senior IT Engineer to join their technical team. The key to this role is ensuring smooth operations of systems and infrastructure. The Technical Engineer will stay ahead of the technology curve and manage server/network infrastructure.
                                                                                 
The current vacancy is for a large organisation who have invested heavily into IT over the past several years, with continued growth planned. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in infrastructure related roles.
 
Key Requirements:

• Experience of LAN/WAN switching and routing (Security, Configuration, Installation)
• Windows Server configuration and administration (2008/2012/2016)
• Active Directory domain administration, ADFS administration
• Microsoft Exchange
• Supporting Microsoft Windows 7/10 desktop support and configuration, and Microsoft Office

 
 Desirable:

• Citrix and VMWare environments, understanding of hypervisor technologies
• Microsoft SCCM
• Exposure to MS Dynamics AX
• Office 365 and Azure Services
