Salary – 40-45k plus excellent benefits, work from home 2-3 days a week
The successful SQL Developer will analyse and create scripts to optimise performance of their existing databases and application SQL scripts.  The SQL developer will bejoining a database team and they will take responsibility of the new database and ensure a fast transactional system is produced. The candidate will also be exposed to the legacy system that is being replaced to help improve performance. They have several database developers, SQL Developers and DBA’s working in a collaborative environment where you will benefit from working in. Essential skills for the SQL Developer role:

  • Strong Background using SQL Server
  • Strong background using SQL / PL/SQL, Oracle skills
  • Some DBA related skills (performance tuning, indexing etc).
Other beneficial skills:
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL databases.
  • Experience with AGILE workflow processes
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Development within a DevOps environment
The Database Developer will work as a team in the designing, building and testing database scripts for performance and robustness whilst also maintaining their existing databases and identifying/scripting optimisations
