Business Intelligence Analyst, SQL – Birmingham
 
Location - Birmingham, North Birmingham
Salary – 30-32k plus car allowance & excellent benefits including pension, healthcare, life assurance and a healthy training budget that includes half a day a week personal development!
 
This advanced Software House based in North Birmingham, are looking to add a Business Intelligence Analyst to their BI Team to work on the design and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions for external clients.. This role involves some client facing aspects.

Core skills & experience;
 

  • Good level of SQL knowledge.
  • Experience of working in an Agile / SCRUM environment.
  • Demonstrable expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to apply thorough test processes to produce high quality deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to present items and hold workshops in formal/informal environments.
  • Ensure that reports and data delivered meet GDPR and other legislative requirements.

Core responsibilities;
 
  • Feedback on potential or requested product changes following from demonstrations or implementation.
  • End to end implementation of solutions based on project scope and requirements.
  • Provide additional technical support to the Help Desk function as required.
  • Scope and gather requirements & change requests in accordance with the BI strategy & customer need.
  • Design and develop data sources as well as relevant reports and analytics 
  • Delivery solution training to new and existing customers as required.
