Desktop Support Analyst – Telford
 
Location – Telford, Shropshire
 
 This dynamic organisation with a name for excellence within their industry are looking to add an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to their IT Services team to provide technical support and assistance to staff, dealing with helpdesk requests and calls coming into the IT department, whilst also working with the Network Administrator to maintain the Companies IT infrastructure.
 
Core responsibilities for this Desktop analyst role;
 
You will have solid technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills coupled with good working knowledge of Dell/HP computer hardware
 
 
Perform hardware builds, deployments, troubleshooting, maintenance, and inventory management
Provide second tier onsite and remote support for all locations
Maintain/update support documentation
Handle second tier tickets, resolving and escalating to infrastructure or development support
Take part in on-call rotation
Partner with team members locally and globally on larger projects
Cross train and knowledge share with team.

Active Directory
Exchange 2013
Windows and Linux OS
Lync / UC solutions
Ticketing systems
Desktop Virtualisation, VDI
