Working in a small team of super-technical software support analysts, you will be responsible for providing software support on their bespoke software systems. Ideally, you will have 1-2 years commercial experience in supporting a software product, and be familiar with a range of Microsoft solutions.Core responsibilities for this Application Support Analyst / Software Support analyst role includes; - Provide telephone support to Customers for Software Applications in a fast paced environment- Experience of logging support calls and managing them to resolution- SQL knowledge- Must be able to confidently communicate efficiently with varying levels of IT Competences The ideal Software Support analyst will be an excellent communicator, you’ll be comfortable with technology and at ease explaining jargon and technical terms to end users with an abundance of enthusiasm for helping their customers successfully use their software. You will be proactive in finding solutions and will be comfortable at diagnosing problems quickly when under pressure. It would be advantageous if the Software Support analyst / Application support analyst had knowledge of SQL and any previous experience of supporting accountancy software such as Sage or Pegasus, Quickbooks, Xero etc (with knowledge of General Ledgers, Sales Ledgers and Purchase Ledgers) whilst demonstrating a good working knowledge of computer software and hardware is preferential.
