Technical Architect – Burnley – Up to £45k
Server Virtualisation, VMware, Root Cause Analyst, Cloud Solutions, Cisco, Citrix

This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Technical Architect to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is delivering a range of IT solutions covering networking, communications, Cloud platforms, server and storage. The Technical Architect will stay ahead of the technology curve and deliver projects for clients and internal teams.

The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Technical Architect to provide specialist support. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in similar roles. You will have provided 3rd line support with good technical expertise and excellent client facing experience. You will also have flexibility for UK travel depending on the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

Solid systems architecture understanding including VDI, networking, server virutalisation, storage, security and cloud
System design, diagnostics and root cause analysis
Strong documentation and diagram skills
Knowledge of cloud solutions
Hold/working towards industry accreditations (VMware, Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft, HP)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
MCSE, VMware Horizon and Office 365 migrations and desirable
